Daniel has been with Heartland Credit Union for over seven years. In his current role as Vice
President of Digital Strategy, he oversees the strategic direction and execution of Heartland’s
digital initiatives—including digital banking, website experience, and enterprise project
management—ensuring members receive a seamless, secure, and modern experience across
all digital channels.
Daniel has led the credit union through a significant digital transformation, implementing
forward-thinking solutions such as Glia-powered digital contact centers, live video banking,
virtual kiosks, and a fully integrated digital team supporting omnichannel member service. He
manages core platform and digital banking vendor relationships, including Corelation Keystone
and Alkami, driving innovation and operational efficiency across the organization.
Beyond his digital work, Daniel has been a visible and passionate advocate for Heartland in the
community. He has spearheaded Heartland’s involvement with local non-profits, coordinated
volunteer events, and delivered financial education seminars in local schools. He serves on
multiple internal committees as well as the Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Young
Professional Advisory Board.
Before joining Heartland, Daniel was a small business owner in the Madison area, a background
that continues to shape his entrepreneurial and member-centric approach to leadership in the
credit union movement.
