Speaker Bio
I currently serve as Assistant Manager at AmFirst a Birmingham-based credit union with 21 branches across 13 counties, serving more than 200,000 members and managing over $2 billion in assets. Over the past decade, I have built my career at AmFirst by moving from the front lines to leadership—starting as a Float Teller, then progressing through roles such as Head Teller and Call Center Coordinator, before stepping into their current position Assistant Call Center Manager.
In my role, I focus on streamlining operations, driving technology adoption, and elevating the member experience. Most recently, I’ve helped lead AmFirst’s transition from legacy systems to Glia, our unified interaction platform. That process required not just technical migration, but a cultural and operational shift—retraining teams, rethinking workflows, and building confidence in new digital tools.
I’m passionate about ensuring that technology serves both employees and members, creating efficiencies without losing the personal connection that defines credit union service. In this session, I’ll share our Glia journey—from planning and launch to ongoing optimization—and offer practical strategies to help other institutions not just lift off, but achieve a stable and thriving orbit.
